Win a pair of tickets to Jewish Federation’s ‘Thrive Live!’

Jewish Federation’s upcoming ‘Thrive Live!’ event featuring Jason Alexander of ‘Seinfeld’ fame is approaching fast. The event, which will take place at 7 p.m. April 28 at the Peabody Opera House, is a donor appreciation event — a donation or pledge at any level to the 2013 Jewish Federation Community Campaign is required to purchase tickets to the gala (which are $36 each or $75 for preferred seating).

However, the Jewish Light has two free tickets for one lucky reader(and his or her guest). So, what hoops must you jump through to get in the running?

Since this is our big 50th anniversary year (see below left for more), we thought a trivia question on St. Louis Jewish history (in the past half-century) might be in order:

Who was the immediate predecessor to the late Rabbi Sholom Rivkin as Chief Rabbi  of the Vaad Hoeir/United Orthodox Jewish Community of St. Louis?

If you know the answer, send us an email at [email protected] and put ‘Ticket contest’ as the subject line. In addition to the correct answer, include your name and daytime phone number. The winner will be chosen at random from the correct entries. Submissions must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. The winner will be notified by 5 p.m. Friday, April 12.
