Tabachnicks celebrate 60 years

Bunny and Nate Tabachnick celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2006. They are the parents of Barbara (Michael) Hoffman and Vicki (Curt) Beck and grandparents of Melissa, Jessica and Ashley Hoffman.

Freedman-Thune

Tammy Gwen Freedman, daughter of Joel and Barbara Freedman, formerly of Chesterfield, and Warren Scott Thune, son of Stanley and Eleanor Thune of Princeton, N.J., have announced their engagement.

She is the granddaughter of Sylvia and the late Saul Silberberg of Coconut Creek, Fla., and the late Dr. Sid and Cele Freedman of Hallandale, Fla. He is the grandson of Betty and the late Morris Hutter of Aventura, Fla., and Fay and the late Henry Thune of Boynton Beach, Fla.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and the University of Maryland, where she earned a B.A. degree in secondary education. She is currently teaching high school English in Rockville, Md. Her fianc é graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors and earned his MBA degree from the University of Chicago. His is currently an executive director for the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C.

A December 2007 wedding is planned.

Myer-Keefe

Diane Jane Myer, daughter of Paul and Dr. Bayla Myer of Chesterfield, and Patrick William Keefe, son of Frank Keefe of Chesterfield and Julie Wiegand of Richmond Heights, were married May 12, 2006, at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on St. Kitts in the British West Indies. A wedding reception followed the ceremony at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.

Following their return from a honeymoon on the island of Nevis, a reception was held in June 2006 at the home and studio of Don. F. Wiegand, uncle of the groom.

The couple resides in St. Louis.
