Volunteers, donations sought for JCC used book sale
Published January 2, 2013
The Jewish Community Center will hold its winter used book sale Feb. 3-7 at the JCC Arts & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive. Thousands of books in multiple categories will be available for sale.
In preparation for the bi-annual book sale, volunteer markers are needed at Epstein Hebrew Academy, 1138 Warson Road (between Olive and Page), to work Tuesdays during the day. Volunteers will be trained and there is no heavy lifting. Come and help and work the full shift or only a portion. Contact Zelda Sparks, 314-442-3169 or [email protected].
The JCC Used Book Sale is still accepting donations of used books. Books should be in good condition and all categories of books are needed. No encyclopedias or textbooks older than three years and no magazines will be accepted. If donors have one box or less the books can be dropped off at the book -drop in the JCC Arts & Education Building. Larger donations need to be taken to the Epstein Hebrew Academy. Drop-off Hours are Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
