United Hebrew Congregation will hold an eight-week Torah Yoga course, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursdays from Sept. 6 to Oct. 25. Registered Yoga Teacher Maxine Mirowitz teaches the course in a way that makes classes accessible to beginners and more advanced students. 

As a Holistic Yoga Teacher, Mirowitz aims to energize participants’ minds and bodies to revitalize emotional and physical well being.  She has developed a series of postures that flow together to warm the body and work the heart. By linking movement and breath, participants stretch, and strengthen their muscles while developing stamina, coordination and confidence. Participants should bring a mat. 

The program will take place at United Hebrew’s Spielberg chapel, 13788 Conway Road in Chesterfield. The cost is $50 ($40 for UH members).  Register by Sept. 4 by calling Marsha at 314-469-0700.
