UH sets new time for Shabbat service, dinner for 175th

Due to the Cardinals’ National League Championship Series home game, United Hebrew Congregation has rearranged the schedule of its planned 175th anniversary Shabbat service and dinner on Fri., Oct. 19. The service will now begin at 6 p.m., followed by Shabbat dinner at approximately 7:30.

The event will welcome Rabbi Rick Jacobs, president of the Union for Reform Judaism, as guest of honor. It is his first official visit to a St. Louis Reform congregation since being installed as president in June.
