Tot Shabbat and First Fridays return to Shaare Emeth

Congregation Shaare Emeth is pleased to offer First Fridays and Tot Shabbat for families with younger children.
First Fridays, offered Sept. 2, Nov. 4, Dec. 2 of 2011, and Jan. 6, Feb. 3, March 2 and May 4 of 2012 are part of a full Friday evening Shabbat service at 6 p.m. All generations are welcome. The service will include a special storytelling and music component for children, 7 and under.
Join the group for Shabbat blessings and dinner before services at 5:15 p.m. Boxed dinners can be purchased in advance or bring your own dinner.
Free childcare is always available on Shabbat evenings.
Tot Shabbat is a Shabbat morning experience from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. for children, 5 and under, and their families. Older siblings are welcome. Each Shabbat will focus on a new theme incorporating prayer, music, and art. Snacks will be provided.
Tot Shabbat is offered Sept. 17, Oct. 22, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17 of 2011 and Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 17 and April 21 of 2012. The April Shabbat will be a Havdalah service beginning at 4:30 p.m.
