Torah MiTzion Kollel of St. Louis will hold its 12th Anniversary Gala Dinner Saturday, Dec. 13 at the Clayton High School Commons, 1 Mark Twain Circle in Clayton. Cyndee Levy will be recognized with the Distinguished Service Award for her work with the Jewish Federation to support the bnot sherut program here.
The kollel’s new family, Adi and Eitan Salomon and their children, who arrived in St. Louis this past August, will be formally welcomed at the dinner, at the same time as the community bids farewell to the current President of Torah MiTzion St. Louis, Suzanne Sundy, and her family, who will make aliyah next year.
The event will take place in conjunction with the annual shabbaton of the North American shlichim (emissaries) of the worldwide Torah MiTzion organization, which will be held in St. Louis from Dec. 10-14.
Zeev Schwartz, founder and Executive Director of World Torah MiTzion in Israel, and Hasida Pinchuk, the coordinator of Torah MiTzion’s Midreshet Tzion in Israel and founder of the Women’s Beit Midrash in Melbourne, Australia, will be guest speakers at the gala. An ensemble of talented shlichim will provide music and ruach at the event.
