Temple Israel plans concert for families with young children

Ellen Allard will perform at Congregation Temple Israel on Feb. 15.

Ellen Allard, multi-award winning recording artist, composer, performer and educator, will perform a concert for families with young children (age 6 and under; siblings welcome) on Presidents’ Day, Monday, Feb. 15.

Allard is one of the most popular and influential Jewish musicians and educators on today’s vibrant contemporary Jewish music scene. She has more than  30 years of experience performing and teaching for young children, and 12 award-winning CDs. 

The event will begin with a light breakfast at 9:15 a.m., followed by the concert at 10 a.m., and will be held at Congregation Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive in Creve Coeur. The cost is $5 per family (cash or check at the door). RSVP requested by Friday, Feb. 12 to [email protected]. In the RSVP, include family name and number of people attending.

This concert is presented by Temple Israel’s Deutsch Early Childhood Center and is open to the St. Louis Jewish community.
