Temple Israel hosts Jewish Parents as Teachers, Torah and Takeout events Jan. 15

The following events were inadvertently omitted from the Jan. 7 edition’s ChaiLights calendar:

JPAT Speaker Series

Temple Israel Rabbi Amy Feder will discuss “Making Mini-Mensches” at the second in a series of programs for parents of young children sponsored by the community Jewish Parents as Teachers (JPAT) program. The event is free and open to the community and will take place from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Dr. in Creve Coeur. Feder will lead an honest, open discussion about how to raise children with lasting Jewish values. She will share practical advice based in Jewish texts, as well as easy, family-oriented traditions that can be applied at home. Babysitting is available. Advance reservations must be received by Jan. 9 to Leslie Wolf,  [email protected] or 314-432-8076.
