Taste of Judaism classes at Temple Israel

Congregation Temple Israel will hold the Union for Reform Judaism’s three-session class “A Taste of Judaism: Are you Curious” in December. The program designed to engage Jews or non-Jews interested in learning more about Judaism. It has attracted more than 70,000 participants across North America during the past 15 years, welcoming all who are curious about the Jewish tradition: unaffiliated Jews, interfaith couples and interested non-Jews. Using traditional and modern Jewish texts, Rabbi Michael Alper will discuss ways Judaism addresses issues in participants’ personal and professional lives.

The classes are free and held at Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D Rubin Dr. in Creve Coeur. Pre-registration is required for this class. For more information or to register, contact Alper at [email protected] or call 314-432-8050. The program is sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism.
