Steve Goldenberg installed as new board chair of JCC

The Jewish Community Center installed Steve Goldenberg as Board Chair during the organization’s annual meeting last month.

“Steve Goldenberg is the ideal person to continue the vision, strategy and goals as outlined in our new strategic plan,” said Lynn Wittels, JCC President and CEO. “He is part of the new generation of innovative leadership at the agency.”

At the JCC, Goldenberg has served previously as vice chair and assistant secretary on the board executive committee and as chair of the Helene Mirowitz Center for Jewish Community Life, and he has served on the finance and Israel engagement committees.

Professionally, Goldenberg is President of Golden Management, Inc., a property management and real estate development company that specializes in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartments (he has built more than 500 units in the St. Louis metro area). He also builds grocery-anchored shopping centers and develops and owns QuikTrip gas stations.

Goldenberg and his wife, Kim, have three children: Carlye and Max, both 16, and Justin, 12. They are members of Shaare Emeth Congregation and are active members of the JCC.
