Staenberg Family Foundation seeks applicants for ‘Do Anything’ grants

For the fifth year, the Staenberg Family Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, is continuing its Anything Grants program. The grants are aimed at helping agencies and organizations raise funds for a variety of needs and will provide funds for projects in the areas of infrastructure, capital improvements, new and ongoing programs, technology and more.

The foundation will award $50,000 in grants to local Jewish organizations, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per grant. Each grant will be equal to 50 percent of the project budget; organizations are responsible for raising the half from other sources. Each project’s budget is not to exceed $10,000. Grant recipients must complete the project by Dec. 1, 2018 in order to receive funds.

Applications are being accepted through Feb. 14 at JFedSTL.org/AnythingGrants. Applicants will be directed to the Jewish Federation’s online grant management system. Members of the Staenberg Family Foundation will evaluate proposals and will announce the winners by the end of April 2018. For information, contact Mindee Fredman at [email protected]

The Staenberg Family Foundation was founded in 2005 by Michael and Carol Staenberg to ensure that the Jewish community, as well as the greater St. Louis region, thrives and flourishes.
