Amir Karadzic, founder of “Don’t forget Prejidor “, along with his wife lights the seventh and final candle in observance of Yom HaShoah. Several hundred people attended the remembrance, held at Temple Israel, Monday night. Survivors Paula Bromberg, Oskar Jacob and Maria Szapszewicz spoke at the event. They brought family to the event and spoke about their experiences including their experiences in displaced persons camps after the war. Candlelighters included survivors Marie Cori, Eva Derby, Hilda Lebedun, Curtis Mann and Sara Wolf.
