Award winners honored

Thirty-two winners of the fifth annual Art and Writing Contest, sponsored by the Holocaust Museum and Learning Center, will be recognized at an awards ceremony and reception at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, at the HMLC theater, Jewish Federation Kopolow Building. For information, call 314-442-3714.

Streetcar musical plays

Trolley to De Baliviere, a musical play commemorating the 40th anniversary of the last streetcar service in St. Louis, will be presented at 8 p.m. May 17, 18, 19 and 20 and at 2 p.m. on May 20 at the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park. Memory Project set

A model workshop will be held from 1-4 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at HMLC in the Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive for Holocaust survivors who think they might be interested in the Memory Project, a writing workshop. The project will be held at the Museum from 1-4 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month beginning July 12. Pre-registration is required. NA’AMAT campaign

NA’AMAT USA St. Louis Council will launch its Spiritual Adoption Campaign on June 4 with a phonathon. The campaign focuses on children of economically disadvantaged families in Israel to assure them a place in one of NA’AMAT’s daycare centers. For more information, call 314-993-3033.
