PHOTOS: St. Louis families celebrate MLK Day at a drive-through social experience

PJ Library and Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School organized a drive-through social action event for families on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 17. During the 30-minute drive-through, parents and their children remained in their cars while participating in activities that helpfeed the hungry, care for the earth and pursue justice.

Participating families drove through six stations, each with an activity or craft, conversation starters and opportunities for meaningful social action. Participants went home with a tikkun olam (repair the world) toolkit and a book from PJ Library.
