Shaare Emeth fundraiser to benefit local homeless shelter

Congregation Shaare Emeth presents “Spellbound: A Night To Remember” to benefit the temple’s 15-year partnership with Room at the Inn, an emergency homeless shelter for women and children. The fundraiser features a hypnosis comedy show by nationally known and locally-grown talent Ricky Kalmon. The event will be held Sat., Nov. 20 at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road in Creve Coeur.

Tickets prices include either dinner, which begins at 5:30 p.m. or a wine and cheese reception, which starts at 7 p.m. Kalmon’s performance is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.

Room at the Inn offers temporary shelter to homeless women and families in places of worship throughout the area. The temple serves approximately 200 people per year and provides transportation, dinner, overnight accommodations and breakfast to Room at the Inn participants.

Tickets are $36 per person for a wine and cheese reception, the show, and an after-glow dessert party. For $150 per person, event goers can enjoy a gourmet dinner, the show and an after-glow dessert party. The evening includes a raffle and live auction.
