Shaare Emeth explores Jewish Spiritual Practice

“Igniting Sparks of Holiness: An Exploration of Jewish Spiritual Practice,” is the topic of a monthly series held at Congregation Shaare Emeth on the second Shabbat of each month, November-April, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, along with special guest instructors will explore teachings and practices designed to help us slow down and recognize the sacred in our lives. The topics will be:
• Nov. 13: What is Spiritual Practice?
• Dec. 11: Shabbat as a Spiritual Practice
• Jan. 8: Making Prayer Real
• Feb. 12: Music for our Souls
• March 12: The Stories of our Souls
• April 9: Holiness in Daily Living
The cost is $8 per session or $36 for the entire series.
After each session, participants can stay for the monthly service of Healing and Wholeness from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
