If you were ever Jewish in East St. Louis, Southern Illinois or a Camp Ben Frankel alum, you can reconnect with your old friends and make new ones at a get-together at from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 at Agudas Achim Beth Israel, 225 N. High Street (at C Street) in Belleville, Ill.

Guests are encouraged to bring their memorabilia, photos, friends and stories to the party. A permanent site is in the works to preserve and exchange these legacies.

The reunion, which cost $30, includes a deli lunch from Kohn’s (those over age 80 or under 25 years are free with a paid attendee). Dietary laws observed.

The reunion is co-sponsored by Congregation Agudas Achim Beth Israel in Belleville, B’nai Amoona Men’s Club and Kol Rinah Men’s Club. Event chairs are Don Singer and Herb Goldman.
