Registration opens for Yavneh School at Bais Abraham

Registration is now open for the Yavneh Religious School at Bais Abraham Congregation. The school, entering its third year, offers supplemental Jewish learning on a smaller, more in-depth basis that aims to be accessible to students with many backgrounds, regardless of whether they have a day school background or currently attend a day school.

Middle and high school students will be together in one group in a “Beit Midrash” that will meet with Maharat Rori Picker Neiss and focus on group study, immersion in text, passion for learning and fun. A class for younger students, grades 2-5, will be opened contingent upon meeting the minimum class size. This group will be led by Ruth Schachter and will also focus on study and Jewish text-immersion while being creative, interactive, fun and age-appropriate.

Yavneh will meet on Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bais Abraham Congregation, 6910 Delmar Boulevard.

Find more information online at baisabe.com/community/yavneh-school/#registration, by calling 314-721-3030, by emailing Maharat Rori Picker Neiss ([email protected]) or Ruth Schachter ([email protected]).

Classes start Monday, Aug. 31.
