The American Friends of Yeshivot Bnei Akiva (AFYBA) is bringing renowned Rabbi Shlomo Kimche, the Senior Rabbi and Vice Chairman of Yeshivot Bnei Akiva to St. Louis for four days, as part of the Sinai Scholars program. The program runs from Thursday, March 14th, to Sunday, March 17th at Young Israel of St. Louis. The program is open to all interested in uniting in support of Israel.
“We extend a warm invitation to all who stand in solidarity with Israel to join us in this significant program,” says Jack Gourdji, Executive Director of AFYBA. “In times of challenge, it is essential to remain united,” adds Gourdji.
Rabbi Shlomo Kimche is a dynamic speaker and esteemed educator. Appointed by Rav Druckman Zt”l to his current position of Vice Chairman, Rabbi Kimche plays a pivotal role in the Bnei Akiva Educational Network, which encompasses over 70 schools and educates more than 25,000 students.
The program schedule includes a variety of engaging sessions:
- Thursday Mishmar: 8:00-9:00 p.m. – Exploring Eretz Yisrael in Megillat Esther
- Friday Night Oneg: 9:30-10:30 p.m. – Teen Session at the Shulman Home
- Shabbat Morning: 11:00 a.m. – Responding to Terrorism with Resilience and Emunah
- Shabbat Evening Pre-Mincha Shiur: 5:40 p.m. – Ethics of War in Torah Halacha & the IDF Today Followed by Seudah Shlishit: Understanding Our Enemies & Overcoming Challenges Concluding with Melaveh Malka: Are We Approaching Geulah?
- Sunday Breakfast & Kollel Yom Rishon: 9:00-10:00 a.m. – Educational Strategy for Religious Zionism & Modern Orthodoxy
- Sunday Night Session: 7:15-8:30 p.m. – Post-Oct. 7 – Yeshivot Bnei Akiva as Military Bases: Our Story and Ways to Support Israel in This Hour of Need
