Preschool children sing, give back on MLK Day at Saul Mirowitz

Hundreds of parents and children participated in the Small Hands- Big Difference event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan.18, 2016 at Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School in Creve Coeur.

This is the fourth year the school has held the event.

“The idea is that we want children to know that they do not have to be a grown-up to make a difference in the world,” said Cheryl Maayan, head of school at Saul Mirowitz. “That was a key message of Martin Luther King Jr., and what a wonderful way to spend his birthday, doing something meaningful.”
