Passover offerings at Hillel for university students
Published March 23, 2011
Students wishing to create their own seder experience are invited to participate in our free “Do Your Own Seder” program. Seder leaders may receive a $5 per person subsidy for their meal, plus matzah and a filled seder plate from Simon Kohn’s. They may also borrow Haggadot from our extensive library and get access to other resources to personalize their seder – including seder-leader workshops with Rabbi Andy Kastner. Registration is required by Friday, April 8.
For those who wish to attend a seder, St. Louis Hillel is hosting a First Night Seder, entitled “In and Out of Egypt Quick.” Rabbi Andy Kastner will lead attendants through a “greatest hits” Passover seder experience and a delicious meal catered by Bon Appétit. Cost is $30, and registration is required by Friday, April 8.
St. Louis Hillel also matches students with local families who are eager to welcome them into their homes for a First and/or Second Night Seder. Registration for both hosts and students wishing to be placed is required by Wednesday, April 6. Kosher for Passover lunches and dinners will be served throughout the week of Passover on the Wash U campus. Registration for all meals is required at least 5 days in advance.
More information and registration forms are available on the St. Louis Hillel website at www.stlouishillel.org, or with Jessica Chezrony at 314-935-9040 or [email protected].
