Nusach Hari B’nai Zion plans series on ‘Secrets to a Successful Jewish Marriage’

Rabbi Ze’ev Smason of Nusach Hari B’nai Zion will explore Judaism’s advice and perspectives for married couples during a five-part series, “The Secrets to a Successful Jewish Marriage.” A kickoff will take place with a dinner at 9:15 p.m. on Shavuot, Saturday May 23, and Smason’s presentation at 10:30 p.m. on “I Am to My Beloved: Marriage Lessons from Shavuos.”
The five regular classes will then meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. These sessions may be attended even if one did not attend the kickoff presentation. The classes will be:
• May 28: The 10 Commandments of Getting Along
• June 4: Essential Character Traits for a Successful Marriage
• June 11: Love, Passion and Intimacy: Their Role in a Jewish Marriage
• June 18: What Is “Jewish” About a Jewish Marriage?
• June 25: Nurturing a Jewish Marriage in an Insane Society
