No place to go for Rosh Hashanah? No problem.

To help ensure that every Jew in St. Louis can celebrate the holiday, Chabad of Greater St. Louis is once again hosting “Shofar in the Park,” a community-wide initiative that includes 30-minute Rosh Hashanah celebrations across the region.

The family-friendly services will take place on Monday, Sept. 26 and each will include the sounding of the shofar, which is central to the observance of Rosh Hashanah, as well as tashlich in most locations. Chabad welcomes the community to join at one of the following times/locations:

  1. Creve Couer/Olivette| 3:30 p.m.
  2. University City/Clayton| 5 p.m.
  3. Central West End| 5:30 p.m.
  4. Chesterfield| 5:30 p.m.
  5. St. Charles County| 5:30 p.m.
  6. WashU Area| TBD

Each center will also be hosting Rosh Hashanah programs on Tuesday, Sept. 27, the second day of the holiday.
