NJT stages ‘Broadway Bound’
Published October 2, 2007
The New Jewish Theatre will host the concluding play of the semi-autobiographical Neil Simon Eugene Trilogy, Broadway Bound.
Set in Brooklyn in 1948, Eugene and Stanley Jerome, recently returned from service in the army, have begun writing comedy sketches which they hope will be a first step on the road to fame and fortune.
But even as the boys are breaking into the world of comedy with their first radio sketch, their family and home life are rapidly disintegrating.
Performances are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. from Oct. 10 – 28.
All performances are at the JCC’s Wolfson Studio Theatre, 2 Millstone Campus Drive in Creve Coeur.
Tickets are $20 – $28 and can be reserved with a credit card by calling 314-442-3283.
