Nishmah Salon to highlight Jewish women in politics

The Nishmah Salon series continues with its fourth salon from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Borders Books, 1519 Brentwood Boulevard. The March salons are titled “Jewish Political Women,” and will feature an article on Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan. This salon will also explore the larger role of Jewish women in politics. Salon article will be sent upon registration.

The Nishmah Salon is a living room-based discussion that affords women a unique opportunity to connect and engage with intelligent and curious women on topics of interest to us as women and Jews. Women of all ages are invited to participate. Morning salons are facilitated by Ilene Joseph, MSW,LCSW, and evening salons are facilitated by Jewish educator Ronit Sherwin.
