Nishmah Banot Buddies program on ‘Healthy Relationships’

Nishmah is looking forward to its final Banot Buddies program of the series on Sunday, May 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Louis Hillel, 6300 Forsyth Boulevard. Girls in grades 2-5 and 9-12 are invited for this special program that will include fun and creative activities about healthy friendships.

The Banot Buddies program, which pairs girls in grades 2-5 with teenage girls in grades 9-12, will take a close look at girls’ topics through a Jewish lens. Each program focuses on a particular area that is relevant to modern “girlhood.” The older girls serve as mentors as they encourage those who are younger to find healthy ways of navigating through girlhood. The relationships between both groups support the fostering of leadership skills, self-esteem, and a life-long connection to Jewish ideals. Banot Buddies is planned by our Banot Board of high school girls and has been one of Nishmah’s successful banot programs.

The cost is $12 per participant. To RSVP, contact Simone at 314-862-2777 or [email protected].

Banot Buddies is made possible through funding from the Covenant Foundation and the Kranzberg Family Foundation.
