NHBZ offers Hebrew reading crash course

Learn to read Hebrew in time for the High Holidays with Nusach Hari B’nai Zion’s five-week Hebrew reading crash course. Beginning on Monday July 17 from 7:30-9 p.m., this NJOP (National Jewish Outreach Project) designed curriculum is intended to instruct individuals with little or no background in Hebrew.

The program focuses on the Hebrew alphabet and reading skills. Course dates are on the following Mondays: July 24, Aug. 7, 14 and 21 (no class on July 31). The course book fee is $18; the class will be led by Louis Goldman.

Participants in last year’s crash course are welcome to attend (they should bring their course book) any or all of the sessions at no additional charge.  To sign up for the course or for more information, call Jeff at 314-991-2100, ext. 2.
