New semester of ‘Shelanu’ at Bais Abe

Classes begin Sunday, Sept. 9 for “Shelanu”, a Sunday morning Hebrew School for children in kindergarten through fifth grade who speak Hebrew with their families at home. Using Israeli textbooks, the school teaches modern Hebrew reading (with comprehension) and writing (with accuracy and meaning) and also includes lively programs to strengthen the children’s connection to Jewish tradition and Israel. The students are taught entirely in Hebrew by professionally qualified and experienced Israeli teachers.

The 12-week semester of Shelanu takes place from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday mornings at Bais Abraham, 6910 Delmar Boulevard in University City. Tuition is $240 (free for Bais Abraham members).
