Neshama Carlebach to serve as artist-in-residence during Nishmah’s Shabbat retreat for women

Neshama Carlebach

Internationally acclaimed musical artist Neshama Carlebach will be the artist-in-residence at “Creating Balance,” the Nishmah Women’s Retreat on Feb. 10-11 at Pere Marquette Lodge and Conference Center in Grafton, Ill. The retreat offers a unique Shabbat experience that aims to help attendees restore balance, create meaningful connections, relax and unwind.

The experience will begin with Kabbalat Shabbat Concert on Friday night followed by candle lighting, Shabbat dinner and an evening of fun and games, and plenty of wine and chocolate.

Shabbat Day, Saturday, will include a variety of workshops that will be physical, emotional, political and intellectual. The retreat concludes with Havdalah, and a musical performance by Neshama Carlebach.
