The awards will be presented at NCJW’s “Celebrating Women” event at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Neiman Marcus in Plaza Frontenac (second level). The cost is $20 for NCJW members and $25 for non-members. For more information or reservations call 314-993-5181 or visit www.ncjwstl.org.
“NCJW is proud to honor Karen Aroesty for her long tenure with the Anti-Defamation League and her community leadership in opposing and preventing hate crimes and discrimination, and for her role in terrorism and violence prevention and education,” said event Chair Nanci Bobrow. “For 24 years, Meg Schnabel has empowered low income women and their families to build safety, skills, economic security and hope for the future. Together, they embody the mission of NCJW.”
The award is presented annually to outstanding citizens who made important contributions to the community in NCJW’s priority areas. Solomon founded NCJW over 100 years ago.
