NCJW plans trivia night and raffle at Temple Israel

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), St. Louis Section, will host its Sixth Annual Trivia Night and Raffle, to support NCJW’s community service and advocacy projects, including the Back-to-School! StoreTM and Kids Community Closet for underserved children. The event will be held at Congregation Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, in Creve Coeur, on Saturday, Feb. 26. Doors open at 6 p.m. and trivia starts at 7 p.m.
Amy Fenster Brown is co-chairing the event with Alissa Arst, Clara Goldman and Jessica Wax. Prizes include tickets to “Billy Elliot” on Broadway, a Chicago attractions package, a variety of gift certificates to St. Louis hotels and restaurants such as Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Mango, the downtown Hyatt and the Four Seasons Hotel, as well as, jewelry, photography sessions and Fox Theatre tickets, a one year family membership to the Saint Louis Zoo and much more.
Celebrity emcee Don Marsh, host of the radio show St. Louis on the Air on KWMU will keep the action moving as friendly competitors challenge each other to remember information about a variety of topics.
Soda, wine and beer will be provided, but players should bring their own dinner and snacks and save some room for the ever-popular gourmet dessert auction. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new package of children’s socks or underwear for NCJW’s Back-to-School! StoreTM.
