NCJW holds ‘Shower for the Shelter’ to benefit Lydia’s House

Join the National Council of Jewish Women-St. Louis Section (NCJW) for a Shower for the Shelter at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 13th at the home of Sherri Goldman. This event will support Lydia’s House and local victims of domestic violence. Shower for the Shelter provides basic living essentials to survivors attempting to rebuild lives broken by domestic violence.

To obtain a list of needed items, visit NCJW’s registry at Target (Use NCJW for both first and last names) and select a housewarming gift for a domestic abuse survivor to bring to the Shower for the Shelter. Register to attend online at or call the office at 314-993-5181 by April 11wz.

The cost is $10 and appetizers, wine and desserts will be served. Join a group of active and committed women who are dedicated to helping other women in our community. This event is open to the public (and those unable to attend can still send a gift card from Target). Gift cards and checks may be sent to NCJW, 8350 Delcrest Drive, St. Louis, Mo. 63124. The address and directions will be given to attendees when they register for the event.
