• Saturday, April 25: 9 p.m. screening of “The Name My Mother Gave Me,” a film about growth and self-discovery, following Israelis at a leadership training program whose year culminates in a journey to their native land, Ethiopia, to confront their roots. Ataklit Tesfaye, an Israeli shaliach who made aliyah from Ethiopia in 2008, will discuss her story via Skype.

• Thursday, May 21: 8 p.m. screening of “Yes, Miss Commander!” For 100 days a film crew recorded emotion-packed scenes of a special Israeli Defense Force unit.
