Michael Lourie has been named vice president of public affairs and chief of staff for the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, a newly combined role that reflects the organization’s push for greater strategic alignment and impact. Lourie has served as interim chief of staff since December, playing a key role in onboarding President and CEO Danny Cohn and advancing the Federation’s mission.
“Michael’s leadership has already made a significant impact,” Cohn said. “He brings clarity, strategic thinking and a deep dedication to Jewish communal life.”
In his new role, Lourie will continue to work closely with the Federation’s leadership to refine its messaging, strengthen partnerships and implement its strategic plan.
“This integrated position reflects a commitment to more coordinated, effective engagement with our partners and community leaders, at a time when collaboration is key for navigating the evolving challenges facing Jews in St. Louis and around the world,” Cohn added.
