The Jewish Community Center welcomes families to the 28th Annual Tour de Fun on Sunday, Aug. 26 at the J’s Staenberg Family Complex. Planned by an all-dad committee, the annual event is for children ages 10 and under and their families.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children can enjoy a wide variety of activities.  This year, there will be rides and inflatables, a climbing wall, a variety of vehicles to explore, a Dunk-a-Dad booth,  HI-NRG Ninja Obstacle Course, booths with activities, pony rides, a petting zoo and a kosher lunch for purchase from Kohn’s Kosher Meat and Deli, as well as cold items from Frosty Treats.

Entertainment performances will be held throughout the event by Rhythm ‘N’ Ruach, Jeff Lefton with Abra-kid-Abra, Serengetti Steve and Babaloo. In addition, “Juggling Jeff” will wander the crowd to entertain children attending.

Early registration is recommended but not required. Tour de Fun is $12 per child if registered by August 23 or $18 thereafter. Adults are free. All children registered by August 10 receive a free commemorative T-shirt. Registration is now open. Register online at www.tourdefun.com or contact Emilie Brockman at 314-442-3267 or [email protected].

All proceeds from the event support early childhood and family programming at the J.  This year’s event chairs are Jeff Goldstein and Derrick Fishering.  Tour de Fun is planned by the Ruth & Harold Sher Center of Jewish Life and supported by the J Associates and a variety of sponsors.
