Kranzberg Family Foundation accepting applications for 2017 grants
Published October 19, 2016
The Kranzberg Family Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, is accepting applications for its 2017 funding cycle from St. Louis area nonprofit organizations and congregations. The foundation’s purpose is to provide funds to benefit the Jewish community of St. Louis, specifically focused on the outreach to and engagement of the “Next Generation.”
It also strongly encourages collaboration between community agencies and organizations. Priority will be given to programs that:
- Are ongoing versus one-time
- Have significant outreach potential
- Have other sources of funding in addition to the foundation
- Transcend the walls of the congregation
- Has no subsidies for travel or conference stipends
- Has no requests for capital improvements.
The foundation has budgeted $50,000 for this grant cycle. The minimum grant amount is $5,000. Grant applications are due by Nov. 11.
