Kol Rinah announces Tasha Kaminsky to serve as director of programming

Kol Rinah has name Tasha Kaminsky the congregation’s director of programming. Kaminsky assumed the new role at the beginning of June.

A graduate of Florida State University and a former Camp Ramah camper and staff member, Kaminsky received a master’s degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University.  Kaminsky joined Kol Rinah three years ago as director of youth engagement, leading the congregation’s United Synagogue Youth chapter, planning events and coordinating the b’nai mitzvah program.

As director of programming, Kaminsky will focus on improving communications, promoting engagement, developing programs and helping members have their voices heard. Congregation leaders said in a press release they hope having a full-time staff member in the role will provide ample support to the congregation’s lay leaders and increase Kol Rinah’s visibility in the community.

Kaminsky will continue to oversee the youth department and work in Kol Rinah Religious School and her focus around the High Holidays will continue to be youth programming.
