Kitchen J is accepting reservations for the first and second seders of Passover, March 25 and March 26, at 4:30 p.m. at the Covenant I Dining Room on the I.E. Millstone Campus. Seniors are encouraged to invite their families and friends.
The kosher meal and seder plates are prepared by Kitchen J (formerly the JCC Nutrition Dept.). The first seder’s menu includes gefilte fish, roast beef, potato kugel, carrots, Israeli salad, cherry chocolate cake and matzah. The second seder’s menu features matzah ball soup, apricot chicken, matzah stuffing, roasted vegetables, garden salad and sponge cake with strawberries.
The cost for those 60 and older is $3 for the specialized seder meal, with an additional suggested donation of $3.50. For those 59 and younger, the cost is $11. Reservations are final upon payment and must be made by March 18 by calling Sheryl Trask at 314-442-3149.
The Passover Seder is made possible through the support of the Moas Chitim Fund of the Vaad Hoeir.
