Kindermusik is partnering with the St. Louis Symphony to offer “Movin’ and Grooving’ with Kindermusik” open houses/demo classes for children 6 and under with an adult companion. Kindermusik is offering four of the events, which join parent and child in making music together, from singing and dancing, with musical story time and instrument play with shakers, rhythm sticks, guiros, triangles, maracas and more. The events raise money and awareness for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Attendance is free with an optional donation of $5 per family to the St. Louis Symphony. The events are for families new to Kindermusik.

Each of the four events takes place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.:

Mon. Jan. 10, at Lodge Des Peres, 1050 Des Peres Road in Des Peres.

Tuesday, Jan 11 at the Jewish Community Center-West, 16801 Baxter Road in Chesterfield.

Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Brith Shalom Kneseth Israel, 1107 E. Linden Avenue in Richmond Heights.

Saturday, Jan. 15 at the Jewish Community Center-West, 16801 Baxter Road in Chesterfield.
