JProStl to present leadership and innovation series

David Bryfman

In 2014 and 2015, JProStl will present “The Next Big Idea,” a four-part leadership and innovation series for professional who work in the St. Louis Jewish community.

The series begins with “The Innovation Imperative” at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30 in the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive.

David Bryfman, director of the New Center for Collaborative Leadership at The Jewish Education Project in New York, will discuss how attendees may redefine success and look toward the future through the lens of innovation. A native Australian, Bryfman started his career in the United States at St. Louis’ Central Agency for Jewish Education. He currently works with educators and other communal leaders across North America on innovation, technology and Jewish identity development.

Subsequent sessions will address idea-storming and crafting powerful messages and will take place in fall and winter of this year. The series will wind up in spring 2015 with “Gefilte Tank,” a takeoff of the reality show Shark Tank, on which aspiring entrepreneurs pitch ideas to potential investors.

The program is free and made possible by the Lubin-Green Foundation, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation of St. Louis. To RSVP or for more information on the series, contact Marci Mayer Eisen at 314-442-3810 or [email protected].
