JProStl, the association for staff who work in Jewish organizations, agencies, congregations and schools throughout the St. Louis Jewish community, is presenting “The Power of Asking” from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16 at the Jewish Community Center’s Art & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive. A light lunch will be included. The focus will be on how professionals address the needs of ever changing communities and open up new opportunities by shifting from what we already to know to what we need. Participants will experience how to craft questions that unlock creativity and allow for dynamic decision making.
The guest presenter will be Julie Lawson, Vice President of Leadership Programs for Focus St. Louis and Trainer for Coro Women in Leadership. Lawson also manages alumni relations programs and provides strategic oversight for civic engagement efforts for the organization. She has more than 17 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and management, previously serving as President and CEO of the Crime Victim Advocacy Center and as Executive Director for the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis.

JProStl is affiliated with the Millstone Institute of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. JProStl programs are supported by the Lubin-Green Foundation, a supporting foundation of Jewish Federation.
