Jewish War Veterans Post 644 scholarship

The Jewish War Veterans Post 644 is seeking applicants for the Chuck Sandroff Memorial Scholarship, given in memory of the group’s past commander, who passed away in 2017.
The $500 scholarship is given to a high school senior who is a descendant of a Jewish War Veteran. To qualify the student must provide the following:
• Student name, address and phone number
• Name of high school, grade point average, extra curricular activities, sports, Honor Society, etc.
• Name of college or junior college student plans to attend and major and ultimate career goal.
• Name of synagogue if a member as well as Jewish activities (BBYO, etc.)
• The veteran’s name, branch of service and years served
• Copy of form DD 214 or Veteran ID Card copy
• Does not have to be a combat veteran. Can be Reserve service
• Is the veteran now or previously a member of Jewish War Veterans (not required to win scholarship)? ROTC counts if it resulted in active duty.
