On Wednesday, Sept. 28, Jewish Seniors on the MOVE will host a bus trip to The Sheldon Concert Hall for a live performance from Cornet Chop Suey, a band combining traditional jazz, swing and blues music. Prior to the concert, the group will enjoy coffee and pastries. After the show, participants will have time to explore the galleries at The Sheldon, and then will travel to Favazza’s, located in The Hill neighborhood of St. Louis, for lunch.
Transportation to and from the event and the cost for lunch are included in the admission price. The trip will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at Congregation Temple Israel, #1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive in Creve Coeur. The cost is $18, with payment required in advance to United Hebrew Congregation. RSVPs are required to United Hebrew by Monday, Sept. 12 at 314-469-0700.
The event is open to all Jewish seniors in the St. Louis region. Space is limited, so RSVP is requested as early as possible.
