Jewish Parents as Teachers talk on ‘Can You Make Your Child Happy

Dr. Milton Rubin

“Can You Make Your Child Happy?” Find out by attending a morning with Milton A. Rubin sponsored by Jewish Parents as Teachers (JPAT) and the Jewish Community Center’s Helene Mirowitz Center for Jewish Community Life on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Congregation Temple Israel, 1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive (at the corner of Ladue and Spoede roads) in Creve Coeur.  Refreshments will be served and complimentary childcare will be provided.

Milton A. Rubin is a pediatric psychologist with Behavioral Psychological Services, Inc. A native of the St. Louis area, he has been in private practice since 1965 and has extensive experience dealing with children, adolescents, and the psychology of healthy parenting.

“It is simple to understand that parents want a healthy child,” says Rubin.  “But once healthy is established as a fact, 99 percent of all parents eventually utter these words: ‘I just want my baby to be happy.’”  Rubin, who is married with three grown children and five grandchildren, will discuss whether parents can make their children happy.
