Jewish Federation launches new welcome program
Published June 18, 2015
Do you know someone who just moved to St. Louis? Tell them about “CHAI’ St. Louis,” a new welcome program from Jewish Federation of St. Louis. Newcomers can register at JewishinStLouis.org/Welcome to receive a welcome package and personal visit to learn about all that St. Louis has to offer.
The CHAI’ St. Louis program was created to help newcomers become more connected to the St. Louis Jewish community. “Many out-of-towners are surprised to find that St. Louis has such a bustling Jewish community,” said Nate Rosenblum, senior associate of community development. “Within a 20 mile span, you will find two Jewish Community Centers, several Jewish day schools, over a dozen congregations, many services for seniors, programming for young adults, social and human services agencies, groups for families with young children and so much more. CHAI’ St. Louis provides that centralized place for anyone to get started on their St. Louis Jewish journey.”
Fill out the form at JewishinStLouis.org/Welcome and a professional staff member from Jewish Federation of St. Louis will reach out to provide a small welcome gift and help connect individuals to programs and services in St. Louis.
