Jewish Community Relations Council to celebrate 75th anniversary April 30

The Jewish Community Relations Council will mark its 75th anniversary with a cocktail reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Danforth Plant and Science Center, 975 N. Warson Road.

JCRC’s past presidents will be honored, and JCRC executive director Batya Abramson-Goldstein will be recognized for 25 years of service.

The Norman A. Stack Community Service Awards will be presented to Paul Reuter, executive director of the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries, and the Rev. Paul Stark, SJ, vice president of mission and ministry at St.  Louis University.

The program will focus on four major areas of JCRC engagement: the St. Louis/Riga project, the Student to Student program, Arts & Faith St. Louis, and the Jewish and Muslim Day of Service.

The 75th anniversary celebration is chaired by Ira J. Kodner and Marylen Mann. Honorary chairs are Lynn Lyss and Michael Newmark.
