The St. Louis Jewish Community Archives is seeking volunteers to assist with various projects. The St. Louis Jewish Community Archives collects, preserves and makes accessible for research and display, documents and artifacts related to the religious, organizational, economic, cultural, personal, social and family life of Jews of the greater St. Louis area. The archives are located in the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library in the Federation Kopolow Building at 12 Millstone Campus Drive.
Volunteers will work under the supervision of the archivist on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Applicants will be interviewed and oriented to practices and procedures, including an assessment of work skills needed for assigned tasks.
Volunteers must attend a four-hour archival training session.
Interested applicants should contact Diane Everman at 314-442-3722 or [email protected] or call the Brodsky Library at 314-442-3720.
