JCRC, SLU plan panel discussion on religion, politics and 2012 election

St. Louis University and the Michael and Barbara Newmark Institute for Human Relations at the Jewish Community Relations Council are cosponsoring a panel discussion on “Religion and Politics: Election 2012” at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at SLU’s Sinquefield Stateroom in DuBourg Hall, Room 409, 221 N. Grand Boulevard. 

The event is free and open to the St. Louis community, with a reception following the panel discussion.

The panel includes Diana Bartelli Carlin, Associate Vice President for Graduate Education and Professor of Communication at St. Louis University; Joel Goldstein, Vincent C. Immel Professor of Law at St. Louis University School of Law; and R. Marie Griffith, John C. Danforth Distinguished Professor in the Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis and director of the John C. Danforth Center on Religion & Politics.
