JCRC, Maimonides Society offer program on healthcare reform

The Jewish Community Relations Council of St. Louis (JCRC), in partnership with the Maimonides Society of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, will present a workshop focused on recent changes in health care law. The program, “What You and Your Patients Need to Know About Health Care Reform,” will provide information geared to the medical community and will include an update on impending federal health care reform, developments in state health law and a general question and answer session.

Presenting the workshop are two St. Louis physicians: Gary A. Ratkin, Medical Director at Missouri Baptist Cancer Center and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine and Gustav Schonfeld, Samuel E. Schechter Professor of Medicine and Chairman Emeritus, Department of Internal Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine.

The program takes place from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday July 14, at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive, St. Louis 63146.
